Ketchikan Salmon & Halibut Fishing Charters
Ketchikan Combo fishing charters target both Halibut & Salmon in the same day. Combo fishing charters are available for dedicated anglers that are looking for the ultimate challenge of reeling in Giant Halibut and fierce fighting salmon, on one of my signature all day fishing excursions.
The Ketchikan, AK Pacific Halibut is the most talked about Gamefish found in Alaskan Waters. Halibut are powerful bottom fish that can muster up high-speed runs; these fish are the Giants of all bottom-fish species available in Ketchikan waters. Ketchikan fishing for Halibut produces stories that echo around the World, because these hard-fighting fish are considered the fiercest of all bottom-fish in the World. Our Ketchikan Halibut Fishing Charters will deliver unparalleled action on your next Alaska fishing trip.
Captain Colby Slanaker is a highly-experienced Ketchikan Salmon Fishing Guide that knows how to locate large schools of Salmon quickly and will get you into the Salmon Battle of a lifetime! Ketchikan King Salmon (Chinook) is another popular target species for Alaskan Anglers. King Salmon Fishing Trips provide fierce fighting action for anglers that are looking to try their hand at tackling the largest Salmon in the Ocean. Fish Finder Charters is Fully Insured and Coast Guard Licensed.
I operate my Ketchikan charter fishing trips from a spacious 30 foot Baha Cruiser named "Double Header". My Ketchikan Fishing boat is powered with Twin 225HP Yamaha Outboards. This delivers a combined 450HP motor package that makes us one of the fastest fishing boats in the Ketchikan fishing fleet. Getting to the fishing grounds faster gives us more time on the water for actual fishing time instead of a long run time. In addition to more fishing time, if we need to beat the weather back to town or relocate to find fish, we can do swiftly. I have an electric flush marine head on board and a very up to date electronics package.
My fishing boat features a LCD Furuno Fish Finder and a standard horizon GPS chart plotter system. All safety equipment is up to date and exceeds US coast guard safety guidelines.
